Matrushree Ananthalakshmi Adinarayanan is the co-founder of Anaadi Foundation, a spiritual organization started in 2015 and Dharma Gurukulam located near Palani in Tamil Nadu. She has an MS in Information Systems from State University of New York. Before starting Anaadi Foundation Matrushree was briefly in the tech industry and a faculty member and researcher of Computer Science in academia. She has been an exchange researcher and professor to the University of L’Aquila, Italy. She regularly teaches at IIT Delhi. She was formerly an Edtech – Cognitive Science researcher and a Faculty member of the CSE Department at Amrita University. With a rich experience in teaching and research, Smrithi has inspired several teachers and students through her insights on the teaching and learning process.

Matrushree is a well known Indian Knowledge Systems expert in India and has published several IKS books for young learners. She belongs to the spiritual parampara of Mahavatar Kriya Babaji.

Anaadi Foundation was started in 2015 for loka sangraha. Dharma Gurukulam is an Indian Knowledge Systems based Gurukulam, started in 2021 for children. 

After more than a decade of teaching and research experience, Ananthalakshmi, along with her husband, started Anaadi Foundation and since then they have been reaching out to children, youth and families through their online and in-person programs on Yoga, Ithihasa-Purana and Vedanta blending unique insights from modern science. Being grihasthas and being able to integrate sadhana into their daily life has inspired a lot of grihasthas who visit the ashram.
