Sita was constantly looking towards the forest, hoping Rām & Laxman will return back at any moment. Despite her brave exterior, she was trembling in fear & the decahedron monster Rāvan was laughing hysterically at her plight.

Rāvan thought he should not lose more time lest he loses this opportunity to abduct Sita, said-You’ve not understood the worth of my words, so I’ll show you strength of my arms & then forcefully grabbed Sita’s hands.  Sita was aghast at the audacity of sinful wretch, that he was actually touching her.  She tried to wriggle her hands free but was no match to the strength of the monster.

She then said-You claim yourself to be strong but instead of fighting with my husband, you’re trying to show a woman your power. By deception, you sent fake golden deer to lure Rām away from me & then show your false power. Shame on you!

Rāvan laughed,said-Its against my stature to fight with tiny human beings & an insult to even consider them equals.For me it’s not deceit but a well thought strategy to possess you. My success is to get things at any cost rather than thinking how to get it

It’s more important – Why & how we get something valuable rather than whether we get it. Else we are like animals whose effort is in getting things at any cost.
