It has branches in 35 cities of Germany. Altogether it has more than 4000 members. Its aim is to promote the understanding between Indians and Germans and to facilitate contacts among the people of Indian origin living in Germany.</p> <p>The Karlsruhe branch has 90 members. It organises different functions to further the understanding of Indian Culture in Germany and to allow its members and friends to meet regularly to exchange ideas and experiences. It also supports a school in a village near Dehra Dun. </p>

<p>I am a Katha Keertana/Harikathe and Carnatic music vocalist from Bengaluru, I started learning Carnatic music since the age of 5 and performing Harikathe (in Kannada) from 14 years of age. Since then I have performed at various prestigious stages such as Bengaluru Ganesha Utsava, Mumbai Kannada Sangha, Indian Institute of World Culture, Sri Rayara Mata Hyderabad, Sri Jayarama Seva Mandali, Alwas Nudisiri, Mudabidri, RMKS Kannada Sangha Frankfurt. I am currently pursuing my Masters in Cell Biology and Biophysics from Goethe University Frankfurt and University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. I am also the winner of the Otto Bayer Fellowship in Drug Discovery 2022 for my work on cancer research.</p>

Purva is a National scholarship holder in Music from CCRT and is a National runner up for the Balashree awards. Purva also does violin accompaniment for vocal concerts. Purva is exposed to the style of a galaxy of Gurus as part of her curriculum at The Music Academy, Chennai. Purva and her younger sister Paavani perform vocal and violin events and have an interest in holistic development of individuals through music. Purva and Paavani have won various awards from premier institutions and have won the admiration of rasikas with their renditions on YouTube and live concerts. Both are students of Smt Kalyani Shankar. Both have been awarded the Rotary International award for vocational excellence.</p>

Die Stรผcke sind nicht auf eine bestimmte Altersgruppe festgelegt, sie sind fรผr kleine Kinder ab etwa 4 Jahre, groรe Kinder und Erwachsene gedacht.
