Every child is special, but some are more, in terms of their needs. Some may be born with a physical disability, a terminal illness, a syndrome, an emotional disorder, an intellectual disability, food allergies or learning disabilities. For some this could be a temporary phase, while for some other, it could be for their life time. In any case, they will need to be supported in order for them to achieve their various physical, social, emotional, psychological or intellectual goals. Sometimes, the families will have to provide a life time support for their child and this can be very challenging emotionally and physically. Early intervention is very important in identifying the right course of action so as to enable some of these children lead a near normal life.
