We are delighted to welcome everyone to Tygaraja Utsav for the 5th time in Belgium (#TUB2022), singing along with professional musicians from UK: brothers Shri. AGA Gnanasundaram Desigar on vocals and Shri. Somasundaram Desigar on mridangam.
Pancharatna Kriti singing will be followed by a live violin concert by the second generation of performers from the family: Chaitanyaram Gnanasundaram and Tapaswini Gnanasundaram.
This is the only authentic way to recreate the great thiruvaiyaaru in Europe! Amateurs singing with the professionals, sitting on the ground, offering musical prayer to the genius of Saint Tyagaraja on his 175th anniversary.
Date & time: 5th March, from 4.00 pm onwards
Venue: Vrije Basis School, Celestijnenlaan 46, Heverlee -3001 (if you attended the previous TUBs, you know where)
Price to pay at entry: 10 euros per adult above 18 yrs.
Children free entry.
