There has been in recent times a strong need to enhance mental health potentials amongst the general community. This is especially significant owing to heightened levels of stress, anxiety, great and loneliness caused by the pandemic situation across the world. Yoga has been proven to one of many effective strategies to maintain psychological well-being while also addressing issues of anxiety, depression and stress coping mechanism.
The Yoga approach has been to promote practice of techniques like Āsana, Prāṇāyāma, Bhāvana and chanting based interventions to enable affirmative reflection and self-regulated health promotion.

This online webinar which would be of interest to Yoga teachers and Yoga therapists offers insightful orientation to the concept of mental health from the perspective of Yoga, integrating the basic tenets of Yoga philosophy in understanding the mind, nature of mental suffering and processes of resolving them.
