Living a Harmonious Life – A Dharmic Perspective

Today when you look around the discussions taking place on various fora and social media platforms, we perceive a world that is affected by conflict and disharmony. People are vehemently calling for inclusiveness and for promoting diversity at all levels. There is an outcry against discrimination... gender/racial equality, rich Vs poor disparity...

On the other hand, there is animated talk about sustainability. There is also a lot of commotion about the irreversible harm being caused to the environment leading to climate change, global warming etc..

There appears to be a deep yearning to get back to a way of life that promotes harmony, not only among the different sections of human population on the one hand but also the animal and plant kingdom on the other.

All in all, thus leading to one question: how to create a sustainable world of inner as well as outer being and define a single dimension of morality that everyone can comfortably adhere to? What path does one pursue to recreate the harmonious existence and co-existence of all beings?

This presents a perfect opportunity for the Sanatana Dharma that was born from the Vedas to enter the picture and usher in the concept of Dhaarmic Living, which has been forgotten in the hustle and bustle of "modern materialistic life" that we have adopted in the past several decades, no matter which part of the globe we are living in.
