Introducing: "Cultural Summer Workshop for Kids"

Overview: Welcome to our first-ever online summer workshop with Katha Sinddhu, designed to connect kids in Europe with their cultural roots and heritage! This Summer Workshop for Kids is a curated and interactive program that will take your children on an inspiring journey of Kathas (traditional stories), Bhajans (devotional songs), Puzzles, Activities, and more. The workshop aims to foster a sense of cultural pride and understanding while providing an enriching and fun learning experience.

Why Join?

  • Connect with your cultural heritage: Through engaging and interactive sessions, kids will gain a deeper understanding of their cultural past, fostering a sense of pride and identity.

  • Bilingual Experience: The workshop will be conducted in both Tamizh and English, making it accessible to a wider audience while preserving the cultural essence.

  • Memory and Character Building: Learning traditional hymns and stories will help children develop memory skills and instill positive character traits.

Key Learning Outcomes:

  • Traditional Kathas: Participants will learn to narrate five captivating stories from our cultural heritage. These stories are carefully selected to offer insights into our rich traditions and values.

  • Tamizh Hymns: Kids will be introduced to five Tamil hymns, which serve the dual purpose of connecting with the language and building character through their meaningful messages.

  • Bhajans and Shlokas: Participants will learn ten simple yet soulful bhajans and shlokas, providing them with a repertoire of devotional songs for daily practice and devotion.

Workshop Format

The workshop will be conducted online, enabling children from various European regions to participate. It will run for a duration of 10 days, with interactive sessions held from Monday to Friday over 2 weeks to keep the kids engaged and motivated.
