Among the vast ocean of sacred literature in India, one text stands apart in many ways for its timeless wisdom and teachings that are always relevant – the Bhagavadgitā. As a text that also brings together many core principles of Yoga, the Bhagavadgīta always yields newer insights the more we delve into it.

Starting on 26th February (Ekādaśi) and continuing with a session every Ekādaśi (11th day of each waxing and waning fortnight, believed to be a day of great potency), this reflective meditative experience will take participants through a meditative practice integrated study of the core teachings of each chapter of the Bhagavadgīta, based on the Gītārtha Saṅgraha of Yamunacarya.

For those who wish to register for the progamme, a 90 minute session will be held on every Ekādaśi in which one chapter will be taken up for study and a meditative practice based on that chapter will be given. This programme will come to its conclusion on Gītā Jayanti which falls on the 4th of December 2022.

Video recordings will be made available for a limited period to all registered participants, the schedule of which will be shared.

This programme will be anchored by Nrithya Jagannathan, Director, KYM Institute of Yoga Studies.
