She was brought up in Tiruchirapalli and learnt classical music for more than 18 years under the tutelage of Sangeetha Kala Acharya, Late Pallavi. Sri. J. Venkataraman, retired AIR A grade artist. She has also been featured as AIR artist in Trichy until she moved to Germany. She has also performed at the Indian Fine Arts. She is the receiver of the State award for devotional music and also received “Growing Young Talent” award conferred by Bharati Yuva Kendra.
